XEL
The XEL qualifies as a true ultra-light aircraft in the United States under Part 103 of the FAA regulation. Powered by the twine cyclinder, carbureted, air cooled MZ202 engine and equipped with floats, this aircraft weighs in at 312 pounds (142 Kilograms).
NOTE: Options for the XEL are limited due to FAA Part 103 weight restrictions. Most common options are Factory paint, S-Curved Cyclic Stick and the Ground Wheel Kit.
Per FAA regulations, the floats are the only reason the XEL is eligable for ultralight status and the XEL is not intended for water operations.
