The 3 main events of the year are as follows:

Spring Fly In:

2024 Composite FX Factory Open House

& Fly In

April 6th & 7th

To start the flying season off, CFX will have several new announcements and debuts this Open House/Fly In/Mosquito Rally with regards to helicopter upgrades, engine upgrades, XE290 production, CFX rotor blades and major upgraded manufacturing facilities. There are usually demonstration flight’s throughout the day, facility tours, maintenance seminars, great food and some of the best experimental helicopter community camaraderie that you could ever find.

If your interested in any one of the XE Series helicopters, this is your chance to learn all about them and meet the factory CFX Team members. I hope to see you all there!

Summer Fly In:

July 22th - 28th

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

The Worlds largest air show

EAA Oshkosh/AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI.

WOW! What a crazy, fun, action packed week. Look for us at the Composite FX booth again this year.

I will spend time in the Composite FX booth talking with everyone along with performing demonstration flights everyday from 11:30 to 2:30.

The CFX Flight Crew will have lots of fun putting our Mosquito XE Series helicopter's through it paces. If you are in the area during the designated rotorcraft time slot for flying, you will know there is a Mosquito helicopter in the air!

CFX will have several new announcements this year with regards to helicopter upgrades, the XE290 production, the new CFX rotor blades, the new CFX EMS/EFIS and the introduction of a new CFX engine option for the XE and possibly the XEL "Ultralight".

For those that knew what I did in the 90’s for Horizon, it’s just like old times. Except the helicopters are bigger and way more fun. LOL!!!

Great opportunity to meet old friends and make some new ones.

In 2020, Composite FX swept the highly coveted "Lindy Awards" (Charles Lindbergh) with Mike Messex taking First Place Grand Champion for Experimental Helicopters with his Purple/Silver Mosquito XE290 prototype. I somehow managed to take Reserve Grand Champion with my Mosquito XET.

I have to say that I’ve been to Oshkosh AirVenture many times before but as 2020 was my first year to fly demonstration flights at Oshkosh/AirVenture, I've never been so involved and active with the many, many volunteer workers. I now have a greater appreciation for all the volunteers and the hard work they do to help keep all the flying aircraft safe, and to make the air show a success. Kudos to you guys!

I'm very much looking forward to seeing everyone again this year at the Composite FX booth and out on the flight line at the next EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.

If you make it to Airventure, DEFINITELY come to the Composite FX booth and say Hi!
